The City offers parking discounts for City residents, business owners and business employees in designated downtown parking lots of Pismo Beach through the Residential/Business Discount Parking Permit Program. Participants can buy a one-year parking discounts through the use of a parking decal affixed to each user vehicle. The annual discount parking decal costs $35.00, which is approximately $0.10 per day.
New for 2025 - Resident Only Permits Extended to Parking on Price Street
As of May 21, 2025, the City Council approved the extension of resident only permits to include parking spaces on Price Street. With their resident only permit, residents will be allowed to park for free in the metered parking spaces on Price Street, Friday - Sunday. Maximum 3-hr limits will still apply Monday - Thursday. Although it is the same application process, the resident only permits will be separate from business related discount parking.
