The City of Pismo Beach has recently conducted a comprehensive review of all policies, facilities and public rights-of-way in order to update our ADA Self-evaluation and Transition Plan in accordance of Title II of the ADA. The study included accessibility requirements for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title II and Title 24 of the California Building Code.
In an effort to update the City’s transition plan, the City of Pismo Beach is currently seeking public input to help assess the public’s need and help to prioritize the projects the City will be under tanking to make our City more accessible to all residents and visitors. We have posted surveys for staff and the public to fill out on our website in order to help gather the public input required to move our self-assessment to an updated transition plan. Surveys are due no later than October 10th, 2015.
